Coldigioco
Coldigioco is first and foremost a place, a small village made up of a handful of houses restored by scientists and artists from all over the world.
Nestled among the rolling hills of the Marche hinterland, on the slopes of Monte San Vicino, Coldigioco serves as a cradle for a multitude of different activities, primarily educational and research based.
For over thirty years, it has hosted courses, workshops, seminars, conferences, retreats, and residencies in both science and art, involving universities, academies, study centers, and predominantly international associations.
Over time it has become a special and unique campus/ashram immersed in the lush landscape of the Apennines of central Italy where science and art combine perfectly, releasing new spores of knowledge.
Mission
Through a virtuous and integrated system of training, research, innovation, and divulgation activities, and with a focus on both the national and international context, Coldigioco's primary mission is to promote dialogue and development between disciplines, skills, and specialists in both science and art. The projects hosted at Coldigioco are aimed at scholars and professionals, public and private institutions, non-profit organizations, and cultural venues, creating synergies between various experts and thus contributing to the enhancement not only of cultural and environmental heritage, but also of the role of researchers, according to innovative approaches.
