For over 13 years, Teatro Di Onisio has been responsible for the management, promotion, and support of the production and programming of shows of the Teatro Mestica located in Apiro (MC).
Over the years, the Teatro Mestica, under the artistic direction of Teatro Di Onisio, has become an important cultural hub for the area, fulcrum of initiatives, point of reference for local and international artists, cultural centre for its community, stronghold of intellectual resistance, the town's covered square, and fertile garden in which future generations can blossom and grow under the watchful eye of artistic inspiration.
Teatro di Onisio was founded in 2008, based in Coldigioco, Apiro (MC), when its two founders, Fiorenza Montanari and Andrea Quatrini, decided to return to the Marche region after training in theater and dance, respectively, to reintroduce their passion for the performing arts to their comunity. Their work immediately focused on specific project lines, which aimed not only at producing performances but also at building an audience through a series of services for citizens based on theater education, a significant number of workshops in schools, and study and research with other local theater groups, establishing a drama school in Apiro (MC) that same year.
